GRAPHICS + PACKAGING
Our high-quality printing inks and varnishes for labels, moulded parts, metal decorating, commercials, conventional packaging and food packaging (low-migration printing inks and varnishes) have proven themselves outstandingly in practice worldwide. This diverse portfolio will be complemented in the future by our new digital printing inks, in the development of which we have benefited from our extensive experience.
DIGITAL PRINTING FOR GRAPHICS + PACKAGING
Digital printing technologies are becoming more and more established in the business fields relevant to Zeller+Gmelin. Digital processes enable short turnaround times, small batch production and personalisation per piece, including individual finishing. Whether large or small print runs, almost everything is now increasingly produced with digital printing technologies.
Zeller+Gmelin graphic digital inks have been developed for the decoration of POS/POP displays made of polypropylene (hollow chamber PP) and cardboard boxes, a wide range of plastics and packaging such as labels, films, sheet metal and moulded parts.
Typical graphic applications such as large format printing (LFP) enable short runs to be completed quickly and printed products to be delivered within a few hours. The digital inks specially developed for this purpose feature good adhesion, excellent cut and fold properties and vibrant colours.
Our research and development laboratories build on our extensive, long-standing experience in chemistry, colour management and dispersion technology to develop and manufacture high-quality inkjet inks. Working closely with our customers and OEMs, the new portfolio is developed to meet specific application requirements. We also use our formulation and analytical know-how in the product development of FCM (food contact materials) inks for the printing of food packaging.
