Multidraw Drylube E 1 complies with the requirements of the VDA (German association of the automotive industry) performance specifications of all German automobile manufacturers.
Multidraw Drylube E 1 is a coil coating lubricant for all kinds of metal (steel, zinc coated steel, pre-phosphatized steel, aluminium and stainless steel). Application is usually done by electrostatic oiler.
After being applied, the product leaves a touch-dry coating on the metal surface. Due to its good flexibility
and sliding properties, the semi-dry film enables difficult forming operations.
Multidraw Drylube E 1 is preferably applied in rolling mills by electrostatic application in liquid condition.
Before applying, Multidraw Drylube E 1 must be heated up to 70 °C. In filter systems, the temperature
should not fall below 60 °C. The solidification point is approx. 40 °C.
In case the lubricant remains in the storage tank in stand-by mode for a longer period, we recommend
a temperature of 50 - 60 °C.
In heated tanks Multidraw Drylube E 1 should constantly be circulated to guarantee a uniform temperature distribution.
