Multidraw PL 61 fulfills the requirements of the VDA (German Association of the Automotive Industry)
functional specification document of all German automobile manufacturers.
Multidraw PL 61 is mainly used in rolling mills. The product shows excellent compatibility with all uncoated and coated thin sheet surfaces. The excellent corrosion protection guarantees an optimum conservation of the semi-finished products during storage and transport even under extreme climatic conditions.
Due to its composition Multidraw PL 61 is perfectly suitable for chipless forming operations such as stretch-forming and ironing.
The high pressure absorption capacity guarantees best protection of the tools and metal sheets.
Due to its excellent adhesive properties the product does not drain off even during long storage periods.
Besides the general lubrication in the rolling mill, Multidraw PL 61 has proven to be very well suitable for
sheet post-lubrication and partial additional greasing on critical parts in the press shop.
Standard application of Multidraw PL 61 is done electrostatically by e.g. systems from Duma, Ravarini, Peabody and Fara Technology. Application by spraying, rolling or dipping is also possible.
If applied electrostatically, we recommend heating up the product to 50 - 60 °C in the tank. In heated tanks Multidraw PL 61 should be constantly circulated in order to maintain a uniform temperature distribution.
